Near IR camera
Near infrared camera (near IR camera) is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum directly adjacent to the visible range, therefore it cannot be perceived with the human eye. Xenics provide this kind of camera with high speed electronic shutter and provide standard analog video output. It is very close to human vision but removes the color wavelengths, which results in most objects looking very similar to an image that has been converted to black and white. The longer wavelengths of the near IR camera is able to penetrate haze, smoke and others better than visible light.
