About this series
The Swivellink® product line originally started out with a need to mount operator start buttons onto custom-built industrial machinery. The truth is, we didn’t develop the product to sell, but to solve a problem on our own production lines. We knew the design needed to be robust and flexible. The goal was to protect the expensive button and route the quick disconnect cable internally, because a simple wire break or damaged button can cause hours of costly production downtime.
Soon after it was designed, others quickly saw the value in it as well, and sales took off without much effort. The Swivellink® product was unique and offered multiple benefits. Once it gained traction in the market, we found new and more creative ways to solve other mounting problems. We added solutions to mount cameras, sensors, lights, robotic end-of-arm tooling, etc. Swivellink® is now offered in 3 different sizes, XS, Standard, & Heavy Duty, and comes in Metric or Imperial. (Heavy Duty only available in Imperial sizes)
As Swivellink® sets out to provide innovative products, other automation solutions have been developed through the years. Swivellink® now offers complete conveyors, modular guarding (Stronguard®), robot pedestals, and a safety validation device (PLx).
Now distributed worldwide, the Swivellink® product line has been used for hundreds of different applications in all types of industries. Our goal is to intelligently design a flexible product line that will solve automation problems. The possibilities are endless.
|Standard Ball Base(AFSB-1 OR SLM-1)||The imperial ball base has a hole pattern to fit most standard T-slot aluminum extrusions and the metric ball base has a hole pattern to fit most metric T-slot aluminum extrusions. The through hole in the ball base can be used for routing wires, cables, or small hoses. There is an exit groove out the side of the base for cables, hose, and wires.||View Details||View Details|
|Standard Knuckle(AFSB-2 OR SLM-2)||The knuckle uses a double socket configuration to clamp the ball on a base, link, or sensor mount. The design allows for a large range of motion while maintaining the internal hose and cable routing capability.||View Details||View Details|
|Standard Tee Knuckle(AFSB-290 OR SLM-290)||The Tee Knuckle was designed to work with a Tee Link to create two branches from one base. These knuckles can also be used to give a full 180° range of motion if you do not need through cable routing.||View Details||View Details|
|Ball Adaptor(AFSB-3 OR SLM-3)||This product is a ball only that can be used with a 1/2” NPT threaded pipe to acquire any length necessary. The imperial ball size fits our standard series AFSB-2, AFSB-290, and AFSB-2-2XS. The metric ball fits our standard series SLM-2, SLM-290, and SLM-2-2XS.||View Details||View Details|
|Standard Links(AFSB-3-2,4,6,8,12 OR SLM-3-50,100,150,200,300)||Links are used with knuckles to extend the reach and increase the flexibility. The imperial standard series links are available in 5 lengths: 2”, 4”, 6”, 8”, and 12”. The metric standard series links are available in 5 lengths: 50MM, 100MM, 150MM, 200MM, and 300MM. Links are hollow to continue the cable routing ability. Example: AFSB-3-6 would be a 6” link (imperial) and the SLM-3-150 would be a 150MM link (metric).||View Details||View Details|
|Standard Tee Link(AFSB-3T OR SLM-3T)||The Standard Tee Link, when used with a Standard Tee Knuckle gripped on the center ball, creates two separate branches. The hole in the center ball allows cable and hose routing for each branch.||View Details||View Details|
