The successful EXO series is the shining basis of the EXO Tracer. The Tracer comes with identical camera features and additionally with a fully functional lens control (focuszoomaperture). Lens mount is a Micro Four Thirds (MFT) mount, covering all electric connections. Due to the size of the MFT Bayonet, the Tracer is a bit larger than the original EXO in dimensions. Still, the excellent thermal concept of the EXO qualifies for a operating temperature of up to 60°C.

All MFT lenses feature a specific beam geometry on the sensor side of the lens, which works in perfect harmony to sensors between 2/3″ and 1.2″. A nearly perfect flatfield is the compelling result. Together with up to 72dB dynamic range and up to 20 MP resolution, the Tracer delivers excellent image quality with its highly sensitive sensors.

The lens properties are integrated into the camera’s GenICam 3.0 tree, any GenICam-driven software is immediately able to use lens control without additional drivers. Same thing is valid for the integrated LED strobe control: All items adjustable via GenICam properties. This permits effortless and quick machine vision integration.

Tests at SVS-Vistek showed a surprising high repeatability of the lenses, even after 1 Mio focus cycles. Focus and zoom times are similar to what you know from lenses in photography.

 

 

The EXO is one of the most flexible and scalable cameras for the industrial market segment. The USB3 Vision interface is easy to integrate in your system, with a data rate up to effective 360 MB/sec. The large framebuffer and packet resend ensure reliable top frame rates. Up to 100 m cable length is supported by the modern network technology of the FXO.

10 GigE interface

The economical high-performance 10 GigE interface offers high data transfer speeds of up to 1.1 GB/s for these large images. A special frame grabber is not required.

 

 

10 GigE and Dual GigE Vision are the most easy way to profit of high interface bandwidth together with the advantages of standard networking technologies. An advantage is the reliable, cost-effective transmission of the image data over a distance of more than 100 m with standard network technology. The 10GigE and GigE cameras of the HR series impress with their housing concept, the wide-range lenses and the unique picture quality. The clean design according to well established standards like GigE Vision, 10 GigE Vision and GenICam ensure rapid integration into the final application.

The interface standard CoaXPress was developed to meet the need for higher bandwidth generated by recently launched sensors. SVS-Vistek is providing CoaXPress cameras with 4 CXP-6 lines. Thus, the CXP data interface is providing 25 GBit/s.

The HR series with CoaXPress is focusing on latest CMOS sensors with highest resolutions. Excellent thermal design and electronics provide superb image quality and low (structured) noise. The HR is a high end industrial camera packed with features:

Polarized cameras are equipped with special image sensors and measure the polarization properties of light that are imperceptible to the human eye. The degree of polarization and the planes of polarization can be determined from a single image. Global shutter, high resolution, high optical dynamic range and high frame rate allow detailed structural analysis of even moving objects.

Despite the special sensors, the EXO Polarized is a standard industrial camera for use with standard lenses. The integrated 4-channel strobe controller supports complex lighting and analysis setups.
