The DM Optical FA Lens Series is purpose-built for high-resolution machine vision applications requiring precision and reliability. Designed to cover 4/3″ sensors with support for up to 20 megapixels, these C-Mount lenses deliver exceptional image quality across a range of focal lengths from 12mm to 50mm. Each lens features a broad aperture range of F2.8–22, enabling flexible exposure control in varied industrial lighting conditions. With low distortion figures as tight as <0.04% on the 35mm variant and compact minimum object distances starting from 0.1m, the series is ideal for inspection, measurement, and quality control tasks. Filter thread compatibility (M35.5×P0.5) is standard across most models, and the robust construction ensures consistent performance in demanding FA environments.

They feature an improved fixture for focus and aperture as well as a full metal housing for robustness. The lenses impress with their high image quality and precise manual focus. They are available with standard F-Mount and standard M42x1 Mount (45,5 mm Flange Focal Distance) for even more stability.
The ZEISS Interlock family consits of eleven focal lengths range from 15 mm to 135 mm. With additional focal lengths and improved fixations they complete the lenses of the ZEISS Classic family.
