JAI CAMERAS – [WAVE SERIES]

The Wave Series is a 2-sensor prism line scan camera designed for Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) imaging in industrial machine vision applications.

The camera uses Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) sensors combined with prism-based optical technology to deliver simultaneous dual-band imaging in the SWIR spectrum (900–1700 nm), enabling detection of features not visible in standard visible or near-infrared imaging.

  • 2 × 1024 active pixels (dual-sensor configuration)
  • SWIR wavelength range: 900–1700 nm
  • Line rate: up to 39 kHz (39,230 lines/second)
  • Pixel size: 25 μm × 25 μm

Key capability: Provides additional “hidden” imaging information for automated inspection by capturing material characteristics beyond the visible and NIR spectrum.
