JAI CAMERAS – [APEX MEDICAL SOLUTIONS SERIES]

The Apex Medical & Life Sciences Solutions is a series of 3-CMOS area scan cameras designed for medical imaging and life sciences applications. The system uses multi-sensor prism technology to deliver improved color fidelity and spatial accuracy compared to Bayer-pattern color cameras.

The cameras use a USB3 Vision interface, providing reliable high-speed data transfer and plug-and-play compatibility.

Sensor & Performance

Sensors: Sony Pregius IMX265 (3.2 MP models) and Sony Pregius IMX273 (1.6 MP models)
Frame rates:
- Up to 38 fps (3.2 MP)
- Up to 79 fps (1.6 MP)
Suitable for time-lapse imaging, EDOF, and high-throughput microscopy inspections

Model Variants

Standard Apex models – general microscopy and imaging applications
LSX models – pre-screened to minimize dust, lint, and foreign object debris (FOD) in the optical path; white housings for clinical and laboratory environments
NF models – IR-cut filter removed for enhanced deep-red and near-infrared (NIR) sensitivity

Standard USB3 Vision interface for high-speed camera connectivity.
